Get CFLE Approval for Online Courses

This section is for academic course instructors or administrators to submit an online academic course for inclusion in NCFR's CFLE-approved Online Course listing.

In addition to recognizing schools offering undergraduate and graduate degree programs with course work covering the ten family life content areas required for approval as a Provisional Certified Family Life Educator (CFLE), NCFR will also review individual courses that are available online. The purpose of approving single online courses is to give students who are unable to complete an approved course at their college/university the opportunity to take a CFLE-approved course at another institution. Only courses that meet the CFLE content requirement independent of another course should be submitted.

Individual courses are posted in the CFLE-approved Online Course listing. Schools wishing to have their online course(s) included in the listing must complete the CFLE Online Academic Course submission form.

All courses listed on the Online Course listing must be submitted to NCFR, even if they have already been approved as part of a CFLE-approved program.

See the CFLE Online Academic Course Submission Directions for information on the submission process.
