Online CFLE Academic Course Submission Form

This form is to be used by academic institutions seeking NCFR approval for online academic courses covering Certified Family Life Educator (CFLE) content.

National Council on Family Relations (NCFR) will review online academic courses for coverage of content relevant to one of the ten CFLE content areas. Approved online courses will be posted on the CFLE-approved Online Course listing. The purpose of approving single online courses is to give students who are unable to complete an approved course at their college/university the opportunity to take a CFLE-approved course at another institution.

Please read the Directions for Online Academic Course Submission for detailed information regarding the  CFLE Content Areas and course criteria and the submission process. Please allow 6-8 weeks for review.

Has this course been previously accepted as covering a CFLE content area as part of an NCFR Approved program?

Please limit selection to one primary content area. While many courses will include coverage of issues relevant to more than one CFLE Content Area, courses approved for the NCFR Online Clearinghouse must cover the majority of a single content area. For example, a course approved for the Parent Education and Guidance content area must cover the concepts of this content area solely within the one course.

For the CFLE Content Area selected, please identify the course or student learning objective(s) that demonstrate how the CFLE Content Area is addressed within the course.
