Use your environment, your attitude, and activities to encourage a more successful collaborative. Learn how inexpensive energizers, parent motivators, and activities can encourage parents to donate, relate, and ultimately create a more successful experience for all. Attendees will participate in a thank-you activity they can use at their jobs right away.

Objectives:

  • Identify contributing factors to low participation among parents and non-traditional caregivers in their programs
  • Implement specific changes, such as restructuring program goals/mission statements
  • Use more effective strategies leading to improved communication, listening and rapport building
