Judy Myers-Walls, Ph.D., CFLE awarded CFLE Emeritus status
Dr. Judith Myers-Walls has been awarded CFLE Emeritus status in recognition of her teaching and her work in Extension outreach, most notably as a co-author of the National Extension Parent Education Model, the National Parenting Educators' Framework, the Child in Your Life series, Parenting Piece by Piece, and the website Purple Wagon. She and her co-authors recently developed the Domains of Family Practice Model.
Dr. Walls has been a CFLE since 1991 and served as Chair of the task force created to examine the future of the CFLE program within NCFR in 1990.
Emeritus status is an honorary status awarded annually to a small number of retired CFLEs who have made significant contributions to the field of family life education. Emeritus status recognizes the awardees' continued commitment to the field and life-time affiliation with the CFLE program.
