Argosy University - Salt Lake City offers a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy designed to meet Utah requirements for licensure as a marriage and family therapist. The mission of the Marriage and Family Therapy Program is to train graduate students to be systemically minded, self-reflective, clinically effective, and ethical marriage and family therapists. The program faculty are practicing clinicians committed to training students to be competent and effective as licensed marriage and family therapists in a wide variety of diverse clinical settings. Throughout the MAMFT program, students are asked to demonstrate competence in the following learning outcomes: theoretical and clinical knowledge, individual development and family relations, professional identity and ethics, research, and interpersonal effectiveness.
