About the Program
The Mid-Atlantic Christian University (MACCU) degree in Youth and Family Ministry will prepare the student for leadership in the local church, para-church or family education ministries and professions. There is an incredible need for individuals trained to work with students and their families through the life cycle. Student Testimonial
The MACU youth ministry program has been a priceless investment for me. Thanks to classes like Youth Ministry Planning and My days in the youth ministry program at Mid Atlantic Christian University have been time well spent. I've learned much from the classes.
This summer I had the opportunity to do my internship through Doxology (a summer recruitment team). I met so many youth ministers, preachers, elders, and leaders in the church. Each week, out of the eight that I traveled, I got acquainted with someone new and was able to watch and learn from their lives. Also each week, I mentored one young man. The connections and friendships that have been made are priceless. Traveling this summer allowed me to get a taste for what youth ministry is really like.
None of this would have been accomplished if I were not in the youth ministry program. It has prepared me for ministry inside and outside the church. This program can do the same for you. So, if you want to learn, grow, make an impact on others and have fun at the same time, join the youth ministry program at MACU.
