Oklahoma State University & Oklahoma Geriatric Education Center are holding their Annual Conference titled Linking Gerontology and Geriatrics: Focusing on rural communities. The conference will take place on June 25, 2011 at OSU's Wes Watkins Center in Stillwater, Oklahoma. 

Attendees will be able to (a) identify the links between Gerontology and Geriatrics; and (b) apply evidence-based information to enhance the best practices or meet practice gaps in working with older adults.

Target audience is focused on rural health care providers & other professionals working with older adults, including MD, PA, DO, OT, PT, nurses, legal professionals, social workers, counselors, and other professionals providing aging services. 

The keynote speaker is Dr. Deborah Carr from Rutgers University.
