Tens of thousands have visited the website and many faculty have adopted it as suggested or required textbook for their students. It includes a glossary and workbook. The Child and Family Studies undergraduate program at the University of Louisiana - Lafayette has met the Standards and Criteria required for the Provisional Certified Family Life Educator (CFLE) designation from the National Council on Family Relations (NCFR). This program includes appropriate course work for each of the ten family life content areas required for the CFLE designation.
The Dibble Institute is a private, non-profit organization created to promote relationship training for youth, with special focus on dating and romantic interactions. Their goal is to help young people gain the skills essential for healthy relationships now, and successful marriages in the future. They have received several government grants and their programs have been empirically tested and have been found to be effective. In addition, they have won several awards.
