NCFR is looking for three new members of the Certified Family Life Educator Advisory Board. The three available positions for 2013 include two Academic Representative positions, and one Employer Representative position. These positions will be filled through an election by current Certified Family Life Educators.

A junior-level Family Relationships course was taught both online and on-campus in three different semesters at a state-supported institution of higher education.  The instructor, text, and assessments were the same for all sections of the classes.  Data were collected to compare the profiles and the final grade outcomes of the students in both formats.

Obligations and chores had less competition when evening entertainment was limited to playing bridge and listening to vacuum tube radios.  Although 60 years have elapsed, many of the film’s good ideas are lasting ones - learning good manners, organizing one’s home, watching finances carefully and practicing good nutrition habits.
