The Groves conference is soliciting paper and workshop proposals for presentation at the Annual Groves Conference for Marriage and Families, which address the interface of families and the criminal justice system.
NCFR is looking for three new members of the Certified Family Life Educator Advisory Board. The three available positions for 2013 include two Academic Representative positions, and one Employer Representative position. These positions will be filled through an election by current Certified Family Life Educators.

NCFR's first webinar for family life educators and related professionals features an introduction to the Minnesota Council on Family Relations' Ethical Thinking and Practices process. The webinar is presented by Beth Gausman, MS, CFLE, Mary Maher, MSW, LPE, and Bill Allen, Ph.D.
A junior-level Family Relationships course was taught both online and on-campus in three different semesters at a state-supported institution of higher education. The instructor, text, and assessments were the same for all sections of the classes. Data were collected to compare the profiles and the final grade outcomes of the students in both formats.

UCLA’s Williams Institute has just announced the availability of a “U.S. Census snapshot” report that provides state demographic information on same-sex families.
