Grief & Families Focus Group
The Grief and Families Focus Group allows a forum that nurtures educators, scholars, students, and therapists (particularly new ones) whose focus is grief or loss in the family context. Although much of what is presented at NCFR deals with a range of losses (death, divorce, unemployment, immigration) this focus group provides a place where the grief associated with those losses can be discussed. It is especially needed in light of the current war/terrorism/natural disaster situations around the world. Members depend on this focus group to connect to others who are comfortable discussing grief in terms of teaching, research, and clinical settings.
