The Families with Teens webpage includes information and resources for both professionals and parents on teen development, family communication, parent-teen relationships, and many more topics. For parents, over 25 topics are available as downloadable parent fact sheets. Many topics are available in Spanish. Practitioners will find these useful as well in their work with families of teens. In addition, there are suggested resources for professionals to enhance their professional development in parent education.

We will also talk briefly about signs indicating there may be an issue with receptive and expressive language, and where to go for help.

Many adults think children can be shielded from those events, but this fact sheet provides information supporting the importance of keeping communication channels open at those times.
