Being a Family Entrepreneur: How to Create or Find a Non-academic Job
Presented by: Virginia Rodillas (via Skype), Kathy Slattengren (via Skype), Marissa Stone and Andrew Behnke
Inviting a panel of successful entrepreneurs that have used their talents to create and find jobs outside of Academia. Examples might include working in a counseling private practice, consulting with business, start a nonprofit, starting a child care business, family engagement specialist in local school system, creating an ipad or iphone app, creating online buzz, creating internetainment around family issues, working with policy research, and so on. Might need to webconference in guest panelists or busy innovators that might not attend NCFR.
