Continuing Education Units

• NBCC, National Board of Certified Counselors (same agency that provides CEUs for AAMFT)
• NASW, National Association of Social Work
• NASW-Arizona Chapter
• California Board of Behavioral Sciences (applicable to marriage/family therapists)
• CFLE, Certified Family Life Educator (NCFR)

NCFR is an approved provider of CEUs for the organizations listed above. See additional details below.

To apply for CEUs for conference attendance, add CEUs to your registration on the online registration form. Cost is $25 for state or national boards or associations and free for CFLE (registration still required).

CEU Procedures

• Participants are responsible for selecting sessions appropriate to topical emphases for the agencies listed above. Some sessions may not relate to identified content areas.
• Up tof 33.75 continuing education hours are available through full conference attendance.
• CEU forms will be included in your conference packet. CEU validation is done after the conference by submitting the completed CEU form and session evaluations form to Judy Schutz, conference coordinator, judyschutz@ncfr.org.

Compliance statements

• NCFR is an NBCC-Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEPTM) and may offer NBCC-approved clock hours for events that meet NBCC requirements. The ACEP solely is responsible for all aspects of the program.
• This 2012 NCFR annual conference meets the qualifications for up to 33.75 hours of continuing education credit for MFTs and/or LCSWs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Science.
• The 2012 NCFR annual conference "Families and Health" is approved for a total of 33.75 contact hours by the Arizona Chapter of NASW, certification number 1823.
