Utilizing Evolving Internet-based Technology for Academic Scholars

The focus of this panel is to present and discuss issues related to the utilization and integration of rapidly evolving internet-based technology. Panel discussants will cover issues such as academic "branding" and how to create an online presence while on the job market, issues related to privacy in social networking, how to use cutting edge mobile technology to reach students and other professionals, and finally important and practical "Netiquette" tips. Each presentation will cover many of the various internet-based tools available to academic professionals and ways to tailor such tools to maximize access and efficiency.
