Continuing Education Units

• NBCC, National Board of Certified Counselors (same agency that provides CEUs for AAMFT)
• NASW, National Association of Social Work
• NASW-Texas Chapter (requested)
• California Board of Behavioral Sciences (applicable to marriage/family therapists)
• CFLE, Certified Family Life Educator (NCFR)

NCFR is an approved provider of CEUs for the organizations listed above. See additional details below.

To apply for CEUs for conference attendance, add CEUs to your registration on the online registration form. Cost is $25 for state or national boards or associations and free for CFLE (registration still required).

If you already registered and need to add CEUs to your registration, contact NCFR at 888-781-9331.

CEU Procedures

• Participants are responsible for selecting sessions appropriate to topical emphases for the agencies listed above. Some sessions may not relate to identified content areas.
• Approximately 32 continuing education hours are available through full conference attendance.
• CEU forms will be included in your conference packet. CEU validation is done after the conference by emailing the completed CEU form and session evaluations form to Judy Schutz, conference coordinator.

Compliance statements

• NCFR is an NBCC-Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEPTM) and may offer NBCC-approved clock hours for events that meet NBCC requirements. The ACEP solely is responsible for all aspects of the program.
• This 2013 NCFR annual conference meets the qualifications for approximately 32 hours of continuing education credit for MFTs and/or LCSWs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Science.
• The 2013 NCFR annual conference is available for CEUs through NASW.  NASW-Texas Chapter is pending approval.
