Transportation

Getting around the city

The "Charm City Circulator" provides FREE bus transportation throughout downtown Baltimore, including around adjoining shopping/nightlife districts like the Inner Harbor, Harbor East, Little Italy (as authentic as it sounds!), Fell's Point, and Federal Hill.

The Maryland Transit Administration features an extensive light rail and bus system with affordable fares. The Hilton Baltimore is one block from a light rail station that serves Baltimore-Washington International airport.

Airport transportation

Light rail, taxis, metro buses, shuttle services are available. Cab fare is about $30 between the airport and the Baltimore Hilton. The light rail is $1.60 (as of spring 2014) one way; the train stop is one block from the hotel.

Regional trains

It's an easy trip from Baltimore to Union Station in Washington D.C. on the Penn Line. The price is about $7. And check Amtrak for frequent service north to Philadelphia, New York, and Boston.
