American Red Cross
The American Red Cross Twin Cities Area Chapter responds to local disasters in the Minneapolis/Saint Paul, Minnesota, seven-county area 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Red Cross volunteers provide immediate assistance with basic needs following fires, floods, tornadoes and other local disasters. All in all, the volunteers respond to nearly a disaster a day.
The Twin Cities Chapter is an active training center with extensive offerings in first aid, emergency medicine, nursing assistant training, and other medical and health-related courses. The facility also houses a blood donation center.
The NCFR national office is located in the American Red Cross Twin Cities Chapter's building at 1201 West River Parkway.
