The Alaska Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AkAFT) 2011 annual conference is on cyber therapy and supervision and on the role that technology plays in the lives of individuals, couple and families. The presenters are Markie L. C. Blumer, Ph.D., LMFT., LMHC. and Katherine M. Hertlein, Ph.D., LMFT. Dr. Blumer will primarily present the current research on the topic and Dr. Hertlein will be presenting her internationally recognized clinical framework that she uses in addressing cyber issues in her work with clients. During the conference, graduate level students/candidates can submit an application/proposal for consideration for the AkAMFT Graduate Presentation Award. Deadline is September 2.
