Attention LMFTs and LMFT-Associates
Over the past decade, inter-professional collaboration has been increasingly studied in other fields related to health care, social work, and education. Collaboration between professionals offering various services has been linked to a lower risk of burnout for professionals, increased job satisfaction for professionals, and improved services for clients. However, little empirical research has been conducted to study marriage and family therapists' engagement in collaboration with other professionals to better serve their clients.
The purpose of this study is to examine the use of inter-professional collaboration in the practice of marriage and family therapy. Your involvement in this study is completely voluntary, and you may withdraw from the study at any time without penalty by exiting the survey. There is a potential risk of loss of confidentiality in all email, downloading, and internet transactions. The protection of participants is very important and all identifying information will be kept by the principal investigator on a password protected computer in the investigator's locked office at Texas Woman's University. There is a potential risk of fatigue and participants may take a break at any time. There is also a potential risk of loss of anonymity. The page of the survey that contains any of the participant's identifying information will be removed by the principal investigator and at no time will name and contact information be connected to survey data. The survey should take about 10-15 minutes to complete. You may also choose to enter into a drawing for a $50 Amazon gift card. More information can be found on the first page of the survey. This survey is IRB approved at Texas Woman's University.
