The 9th meeting of the European Network on Divorce Research will in 2011 be hosted by the Dondena Centre for Research on Social Dynamics at Bocconi University, Milan, Italy. The local organizers are Arnstein Aassve (Bocconi) and Frank Furstenberg (Upenn).The conference takes a broad view to studies on divorce (causes, consequences, theoretical and empirical perspectives), including contributions from Economics, Demography, Sociology ,Psychology, Child developments, Anthropology, and historical perspectives. Whereas submissions from any of these fields and topics are welcome, the conference will have a special theme on "Comparative perspectives of divorce" and we encourage submissions related to this theme.The deadline for submitting papers is 15th May 2011.
