In honor of National Caregivers Month, a free webinar will be offered by the Minnesota Gerontological Society on Wednesday, Nov. 28, titled "Moving Research to Practice: Tailored Caregiver Assessment and Referral." It will be held from noon to 1 p.m. central standard time.

The presenter will be Dr. Rhonda Montgomery, Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Dr. Montgomery has led a collaborative effort to develop and test a caregiver assessment and referral protocol (TCARE®). Most recently, Dr. Montgomery completed two multi-site randomized trials to assess the impact of this comprehensive care management protocol for working with family caregivers, for which she and her team received the 2010 Rosalynn Carter Award for Leadership in Caregiving.
