Funding available for "Research Center to Support Secondary Analyses of Head Start Impact Study Data."
The Office of Planning, Research and Evaluation (OPRE) in the Administration for Children and Families, Department of Health and Human Services has recently published a discretionary research funding announcement titled "Research Center to Support Secondary Analyses of Head Start Impact Study Data."
Funds are available for supporting secondary analyses of the Head Start Impact Study to answer questions related to the characteristics of effective Head Start centers, classrooms, and teachers. Eligible applicants include public, private, and state-controlled institutions of higher education, non-profit institutions with or without 501(c)(3) status, for-profit organizations, and small businesses. Letters of intent are due March 31, 2011 and applications are due May 2, 2011. Applicants may apply for project periods up to two years and will be awarded up to $600,000 per year. One Cooperative Agreement will be awarded.
