June is PTSD Awareness Month

U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius announced that June is Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Awareness Month with June 27 as PTSD Awareness Day. Posttraumatic Stress Disorder affects 1 in 29 Americans, from our country’s service men and women to abused children and survivors of rape, domestic violence and natural disasters.
