The United Nations University (UNU) is searching for a new Rector. The UNU is the academic arm of the United Nations system. The University functions as a think tank for the United Nations system and for the UN Member States providing knowledge-based policy advice. The Rector is the chief academic officer of the University and has overall responsibility for the direction, organization, administration and programmes of the University.
