Request for Faculty Proposals to Integrate Crime Victims' Issues into University and College Courses

due date July 15
June 21, 2011

The University of Massachusetts Lowell, through a cooperative agreement with Office of Victims of Crime (OVC), is seeking applications to help further test the usability of the project's curriculum materials by using, adapting, and extending existing curriculum materials in undergraduate or graduate level courses (disciplines open) or internships. These materials have been designed to integrate crime victims' issues into existing college and university courses in order to achieve the project goals of increasing the numbers of students exposed to information about crime victims and interested in working with crime victims, and thereby improve the future provision of services to crime victims.

Up to four subrecipient contracts will be awarded for up to $1000 each for a 6 month period commencing with the award start date (August 5th or later) and ending no later than March 31, 2012.
