Family Life Education majors from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point are hosting a benefit for "Simply Smiles" on Wednesday, April 11th, 2012, at 7 pm in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Simply Smiles is a charity dedicated to building bright futures for children in Mexico, the Lakota reservations of South Dakota, and across the sea to Germany. Simply Smiles has hosted numerous Service Learning trips for universities, high schools, and other organizations. Its founder, Bryan Nurnberger, and Kristen Graves, singer/songwriter, will be at this event to entertain guests with music and to share the story of their work which began 10 years ago as when they were undergraduate students on Spring break. Tickets are being sold at the UWSP Ticket Information Center, and there will also be a free-will donation table on site with all profits given to Simply Smiles.
