The United Nations — the 8 Millennium Development Goals

The United Nations is working toward making eight goals come to fruition by 2015. They are: ending poverty and hunger; having universal education; achieving gender equality; ensuring child health; ensuring maternal health; combating HIV/AIDS; achieving environmental sustainability; and creating a global partnership.
