In an effort to inform voters where major presidential candidates stand on family-relevant issues, family policy doctoral students in the Department of Family Science at the University of Maryland School of Public Health compiled this family issues voting guide under the direction of Dr. Elaine Anderson, chair & professor and president of NCFR.

An objective, nonpartisan collection of information comparing candidates on important family and health policies is presented. Readers will find this a useful tool in identifying candidate positions on an array of domestic, social and health issues that affect families in the United States, in order to make informed choices in the upcoming presidential election.
