Family Therapy

Family Therapy

The Family Therapy Section unites members who share common interests, goals, and purposes in marital and family therapy. The Section improves the practice of marital and family therapy through the promotion of: a) open dialogue between clinicians, and researchers relative to marital and family therapy theories, research, practice and training; b) the integration of theory, research and practice; and c) effective, efficient and ethical practice methods.

The Family Therapy Section does not have any related Focus Groups. A Focus Group consists of a set of NCFR members with a specific family life interest that is related to an existing NCFR Section, but that is not the sole focus of that Section.
