As we look forward to fall, I hope you have our annual conference in your plans. This year’s program spotlights some of the most interesting research taking place in the area of family and religion.
The Religion and Family Life section would like to play a significant role in promoting the study of religion and family life. As a section in an interdisciplinary organization, we provide a unique forum for the latest scholarship from a variety of disciplines.
The Religion and Family Life section is working on the strategic plan developed by the officers in January. We have several goals that we would like to pursue as we seek to promote the field of religion and family.
Greetings from the Religion and Family Life Section! By the time you read this, our conference in Orlando will be over. The section had several impressive paper and poster presentations as well as an outstanding special session. At our business meeting two awards were presented. The first was the award for the S/NP Outstanding Paper. This was presented to Julie Zaloudek, University of Wisconsin-Stout. The second was the award for the Professional Outstanding Paper, which was presented to Karen Quek, Alliant International University.
