Our family and child major will prepare you to make a lasting and impactful difference in the lives of families and children. As a student, you will choose from four closely related concentrations in Child LifeEarly Childhood Education (Non-Licensure)Early Intervention, and Family Studies. You will graduate prepared to work in a variety of settings from early childhood education, care, and community programs and services to family intervention and education, community-based social services such as afterschool programs, programs for teens, foster care and adoption, or equipped to pursue a master’s degree. Career opportunities include, but are not limited to, business, community, faith-based, and the private-sector.
