The Family Studies program strongly focuses on integrating theory, research and practice. It encompasses a wide range of family structures, dynamics and functions with an emphasis on the development of interpersonal skills and professional practice. The Family Studies program prepares students for a variety of positions that focus on families or family members at all stages of the life continuum in social service, government and education.
