Couples and Family Therapy (M.S.)

Department of Family Relations & Applied Nutrition

The Couple and Family Therapy program is one of two academic programs in Canada with COAMFTE accreditation. It is a two-year, continuous 24-month, program combining academic courses, research, and clinical training.

The Family Relations and Human Development option draws on several disciplines in the study of family dynamics and individual development within the context of the family across the life-span. Taking an interdisciplinary approach to the study of family dynamics and individual development across the lifespan, this program emphasizes a balance between theory, empirical research and practice.
