Department of Family Sciences

Family Sciences emphasizes the integration of individual development, family development, and family economics and management. Students may choose a program from among courses that focus on developmental theory, lifespan human development, family system dynamics, family intervention, family economics and management, consumer economics, and management of resources.

The program prepares professionals for positions of leadership in various settings including public and private service agencies and businesses. The Bachelor of Science in Family Sciences is accredited by AAFCS along with other Bachelor's degrees in the School of Human Environmental Sciences.
