The Idaho State University Counseling Department has 8 full time faculty in two locations. The main campus, in Pocatello with 6 faculty and the ISU Meridian campus (near Boise, ID) with two faculty. The Masters program, accredited by CACREP, includes a specialty in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling at the main campus. The program, if attended full time, is two years and leads to the degree Master of Counseling (MCoun) with a specialty major in marriage, couple, and family counseling.
