2019 Groves Conference On Marriage and Family
The 2019 Annual Groves Conference on Marriage and Family will be held June 19-21, 2019, in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. Registrations are due by March 15, 2019. Registration after March 15 will carry an additional $50 fee.
The theme for this year's conference is "Surviving or Thriving: Exploring Adversity, Resilience, and Hope Across the Lifespan." Family scholars and practitioners have an important role to play in understanding the ways in which positive and negative experiences and environments impact individuals and families. The 2019 conference program builds on past conference themes to provide a broad lens through which to explore adversity, resilience, and hope.
Program chairs Deb Berke, Barbara Settles, and Karen Doneker invite proposals from Groves members and nonmembers (family scholars, practitioners, and community members) in a variety of presentation formats including paper, presentation, roundtable, poster, panel, workshop, and more.
The deadline for proposals is Feb. 15, 2019.
