The Minnesota Council on Family Relations (MNCFR) will be holding its fall 2017 conference from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 1, at New Brighton Community Center in New Brighton, Minnesota.

This conference for family professionals and students will address a topic that impacts everyone: what we eat! Keynote speakers are Elizabeth Jackson of Melrose Center, and Trina Adler of University of Minnesota Extension. Afternoon breakout sessions will address healthy choices for families, food insecurity, youth obesity, and promoting healthy eating in special situations. Conference co-chairs are Marilyn Sharpe, CFLE, and Sarah Danforth.
