The Issues and How to Tackle Them

Join Indiana Youth Institute for a series of discussions with national experts as they address barriers to equity while providing actionable tools and models to support family workers. This webinar is anchored in addressing the importance of constructing a culture of care while being empathetic to children's unique mental health needs and trauma. The unique intersection between bullying, trauma, and youth mental health will be discussed while walking through creating a trauma-informed restorative culture to implement within your own organizations. Participants will be given strategies to identify behavior as a form of communication, focus on building empathy among youth, and address bullying and relationship building through a youth mental health and trauma-informed lens. Together, we can create a community dedicated to increasing opportunity and access for all Indiana youth.
