The Oklahoma Council on Family Relations (OKCFR), a state affiliate of the NCFR, will hold its annual conference on April 16, 2021. The theme is Family Resilience and Hope in Times of Stress.

The keynote speaker is NCFR member Abigail Gewirtz, Ph.D., child psychologist, leading expert on families under stress, and author of When the World Feels Like a Scary Place, published in July 2020. Dr. Gewirtz is the John and Nancy Lindahl Leadership Professor in the Department of Family Social Science and the Institute of Child Development, and director of the Institute for Translational Research in Children’s Mental Health at the University of Minnesota.

In addition there will be 4 breakout sessions with paper sessions, workshops, round table presentations, and poster sessions. See the full agenda linked below.
