Registration is now open for this special conference, sponsored by the American Psychological Association, for scientists, practitioners, policymakers, and students from around the world. This conference seeks to understand and shape the interactions between human beings and technology through keynote addresses by leading researchers, peer-reviewed paper and poster presentations, and discussion time.

Conference presentations will address how humans interact with technology as individuals, groups, and families, through four specific themes: basic research, such as how technology impacts human experience and behavior; technological design and development informed by psychological, behavioral, and social science research; practical applications in domains such as aging, education, mental and physical health, recreation, and the workplace; and broader implications, such as ethical and policy questions.
