2019 Groves Conference On Marriage and Family
The 2019 Annual Groves Conference on Marriage and Family will be held June 19-21, 2019, in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. The theme for this year's conference is "Surviving or Thriving: Exploring Adversity, Resilience, and Hope Across the Lifespan."
Family researchers and practitioners have an important role to play in examining innovative ways of fostering family resilience. The often elusive and ethereal tie linked to family resilience is hope, which is an often overlooked aspect of Family Science, and critical to the promotion of childhood well-being.
Leading scholars in adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) are featured in this conference including renowned academicians and prominent representatives from U.S. governmental agencies such as the Department of Children Youth and Families, U.S. Department of Corrections, Department of Health and Social Services, and the Department of Education.
Registration is now open with a wide range of conference attendance options, including day rates for those in the local area.
Make your room reservations at the Hilton Garden Inn Kennett Square using the group code of “town” to get the conference rate ($140/night, June 17-21). Any questions about the hotel or the area can be directed to Karen Doneker.
