On May 7, the York College Institute for Social Healing and the Mid-Atlantic Council on Family Relations will be bringing together researchers, educators, policy makers, practitioners, community leaders and students for the presentation of research, sharing of ideas and holding space for open dialog on topics related to the broad concept of social healing. May is National Trauma Awareness Month. 

Proposals are invited for a broad range of topics including trauma, healing, resiliency, adverse childhood experiences, racial justice, community peace-building, and more. Proposals will be considered for the formats of individual presentations, panel presentations, and practitioner round tables.

Proposals are due Thursday, April 1, 2021.
