2018 NCFR Conference Continuing Education Opportunities
The National Council on Family Relations (NCFR) is an approved provider of Continuing Education (CE) through its 2018 annual conference for:
- NBCC, National Board for Certified Counselors — $25 NCFR members/$50 nonmembers — NBCC-approved hours are accepted by AAMFT
- CFLE, Certified Family Life Educator credential — $25 NCFR members/$50 nonmembers
(Note: NCFR does not require CFLEs to submit CE verification. CFLEs should only register for an NCFR Certificate of Attendance if desired for their own record-keeping.)
You can earn up to 21.5 CE hours for NBCC and CFLE by attending the full conference in person.
You can earn up to 20 CE hours for NBCC and CFLE by registering for and viewing the conference streaming/recorded sessions online.

Continuing Education Procedures
- On-site conference attendance: In-person attendance for each session is required in order to earn CE hours on-site at the conference. Participants are responsible for selecting sessions appropriate to topical emphases for the agencies listed above. Only sessions identified as approved qualify for CE hours. Organizational approval and CE hours for each session are indicated on the CE verification form.
- For in-person attendees, CE forms will be included in the conference packet you receive on site. CE validation is done after the conference; you will email your completed CE form and session evaluations form to Maddie Hansen, NCFR's education and certification coordinator., or you can drop off your form at the conference registration desk before you depart.

- Streaming/session recordings: If you do not attend the conference in person but instead purchase NCFR's streaming conference option, you can earn up to 20 hours of continuing education credit for NBCC and CFLE by watching sessions online.
- For streaming/recording purchasers, you will receive your CE verification form as an attachment on your purchase confirmation email. You will email your completed CE form and session evaluations form to Maddie Hansen, NCFR's education and certification coordinator.

- To apply for CE hours for conference attendance, add CE hours to either your in-person registration or streaming/recordings purchase when you complete your order online.
Compliance Statements
Sessions that qualify for CE credit are indicated on the CE verification form and on the list of sessions approved for CE hours. NCFR is solely responsible for all aspects of the program.
National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC)
NCFR has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP #5984. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. NCFR is solely responsible for all aspects of the program.
