The journal American Psychologist, published by the American Psychological Association, seeks papers for a special issue on "Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs): Translation to Action."

The goal of this special issue is to publish articles that "encompass the range of work being conducted in research, practice, programs, and policy in psychology and allied disciplines."

Authors are invited to submit proposals that synthesize conceptualizations and research within the ACEs framework broadly defined and to offer new and innovative approaches that reflect the emphasis on the scientific base in psychology and the "Translation to Action" theme.

Letter of intent are due Nov. 1, 2019 and are to be submitted to the guest editors. Invitations to submit a full-length manuscript will be sent by Dec. 15, 2019.
