UN Women seeks papers on "how human mobility and the distancing of family members across places and borders shape gender and generational dynamics within families" to inform a chapter in its flagship report, Progress of the World's Women.

The next edition of the publication is themed "Families in a Changing World," and will contain several chapters addressing the theme as it relates to women's rights.

Authors whose papers are selected will be invited to present their research in December 2016.

Abstracts from researchers interested in submitting their work are due Aug. 8, 2016. Full draft papers will be due in mid-November.
