CFLE Application and Renewal Process Now Online

The National Council on Family Relations (NCFR) is pleased to announce that you can now apply for the Certified Family Life Educator (CFLE) credential and maintain your certification completely online.

The new CFLE online application system was designed to provide you a simpler, quicker, and more secure upgrade or recertification experience. The application process at my.ncfr.org is easy to follow and use whether you are brand new to the credential or a seasoned pro.

At my.ncfr.or—in the My CFLE Certification box—current CFLEs can now:

  • Upgrade from provisional to full CFLE status
  • Submit continuing education credits for the 5-year recertification

Individuals working to become a CFLE can apply for the credential entirely online as well, through the approved-program application process or the exam application process.

Saving you time and energy

The CFLE online application is completely tailored to each applicant and directs you to the next step you need to complete. Forms will autofill with information from your NCFR customer record. You can pause your application and return later—all your work will be saved. Best of all, the online process offers an easy and secure way to make a payment.

Many current CFLEs have already started using the new online process for their recertification. Here’s what one of your colleagues said:

“I just submitted my recertification information online. The system is very user-friendly; it was a pleasure to complete the application and to use such a well-constructed process. It streamlined the reapplication process for me. Thanks!”
