The Theory Construction and Research Methods workshop and the Research and Theory section are seeking editors for a new edition of the Sourcebook of Family Theory and Methods.  The Sourcebook is an edited volume project showcasing in-depth review and update of traditional family theories and methods, and cutting-edge statements of emerging theories and methods.  Since the 1960s, it is one of the foundational resources on theory and methods in the field of Family Science.

A team of editors will develop a framework for the volume, determine the topics and quantity of chapters; recruit, select, and provide editorial support for authors; develop a prospectus and submit to publishers; manage budget; and liaison with NCFR and TCRM throughout the development of the project.

The editors will be chosen by a selection committee, consisting of Katherine Allen (previous co-editor), Libby Blume (current editor of JFTR), and Ron Sabatelli (previous author in two earlier sourcebooks).

Please submit a one-page letter with explanation of interest and relevant experiences, and a recent CV, to Ron Sabatelli ([email protected]).

Application deadline:  Review of applications begins on March 1, 2017.
