Research from the Journal of Marriage and Family (JMF), published by NCFR, was recently featured in several media news stories.

Sibling Relationships and Influences in Childhood and Adolescence by Susan M. McHale, Kimberly A. Updegraff, and Shawn D. Whiteman (Vol. 74, Issue 5) provides a review of the literature on sibling relationships and suggests several factors of sibling influence on child development. From these findings, the New York Times cites several benefits of sibling disagreements in a recent article, "A Sibling Fight Survival Guide."

Gender Equality and Restless Sleep Among Partnered Europeans by David J.
