• Research by Jacquelyn J. Benson, Ph.D., and Marilyn Coleman, Ph.D., on older adults "living apart together" has been recently featured in many media outlets including TIME and Kaiser Health News, which interviewed Dr. Benson for their story. The research article “Older Adult Descriptions of Living Apart Together” was published in Family Relations: Interdisciplinary Journal of Applied Family Science, July 2016.

• NCFR Fellow and Past President, William J. Doherty, Ph.D., delivered the address at the University of Minnesota College of Education and Human Development’s graduate commencement ceremony on Thursday, May 10. Read his full remarks here.

• Susan L. Brown, Ph. D., (pictured below) received the Clifford C. Clogg Award for Mid-Career Achievement at the 2018 Population Association of America annual meeting. Congrats!
