Member News: Julie Leventhal Receives Fulbright Award to Teach in Romania

Julie Leventhal

Julie Leventhal, Ph.D., CFLE, senior lecturer in the Department of Psychology at the University of North Texas, has received a Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program award to Romania.

As the recipient of this scholarship, Dr. Leventhal will teach and conduct research with the Department of Psychology at the University of Bucharest. In her interpersonal relationships course, Dr. Leventhal will examine theory, communication, relational dynamics, conflict, and other aspects of romantic, peer, family, and community relationships. Additionally, Dr. Leventhal will explore volunteer motivations and the various external factors that help or hinder volunteerism specifically with anti-human trafficking initiatives as her primary research goal.
